On cold mornings, the 160g in the body and sleeves and 80g in the hood will provide the warmth he needs, and when the temperatures warm up, he can open the underarm vents for a quick cooldown. He will be well protected from flurries with the BG Ultracore, which offers a 10K waterproof/breathable rating, critically taped seams, and a DWR coating to keep him dry. To keep the elements out, the Madcap jacket has an adjustable, removable hood, thumbhole wrist gaiters, adjustable cuffs, a powder skirt, and drawcord hem that will keep him out from the first chair to the last.
