Why We Like The Mountain Hardwear Bridger Tent
We like the Bridger Tent because it brings Mountain Hardwear's alpine technology down to the campground. Utilizing the brand's mountaineering expertise, the tent is highly durable and waterproof with PU-coated polyester ripstop for protection, and it features a full mesh canopy for optimal ventilation and unobstructed views of stars when there's little chance of rain. The vestibule and tent floor combine for one of the largest covered living spaces in its class with a tall interior height of 5 foot 6 inches and two large canopy and mesh doors that open saloon-style to provide easy entry and exits from the tent. We especially like that massive front vestibule— which is big enough to host front porch-style hangouts—and opens into an inviting space, which even has a built-in "door mat" to preserve our tent and keep things cleaner. There's plenty of extras all around—more than we normally find packed into a campground-style tent.

Large tent, full of features
Overall this is a great tent. Packed with a lot more thoughtful features than other tents of this size. Very tall and roomy. Weather worthy. Dual vestibules make it super functional. Only drawback is it is quite large. Probably about the size of a mid to large SUV

Perfect Fit for National Park Family Adventures
The Bridger 4 tent was perfect on our 2 week family cross country camping trip. We encountered a wide variety of environmental and weather conditions during our travels which really allowed this tent to show its capabilities. Set up and take down was simple and easy enough our 8 and 11yr old children took over the duty. Locations included Badlands, Glacier, Tetons and Rockies. The Bridger 4 tent always excelled.

Poor Execution
I purchased this tent but had to return it for the following reasons. -The clip on the top, which in traditional MHW designs held all crossing poles, is not large enough to fit all three poles. -The tension needed to secure the poles in the corner rings was ridiculously high, felt like I was going to tear the tent fabric trying to get it in. - The large front vestibule was slack, which in the rain would allow for pooling and leaking. -The vestibule could not be collapsed back to decrease the footprint of the tent with the rain fly on. Overall this tent is a nice concept but the manufacturing measurements seem to be off by a bit leading to difficulty with set up, decreased functionality, and decreased versatility.

For a base camp
Nice height, strong poles, spacious inside with a huge vestibule. Zip up case is the best I've ever seen for a tent. But....tough to set up for one person and pretty heavy at 17 #. Would be great for a car camping setup for multiple days/a week in one spot. If you have to move every day look for something lighter.
