The lightweight shell fabric has a water-repellant finish to shed light moisture, and the weather-guarded 3/4-length zipper retains core heat. Super-soft, articulated stretch StormSleeves™ are engineered to seal in warmth while maintaining freedom of movement as your dog dashes from powder stash to powder stash. Hem cords at neck and belly cinch to capture warmth and keep cold elements out. Because staying warm shouldn't have to mean staying inside, the Furness offers a new level of canine coziness for winter exploring.

    Great for a bald bellied boxer

    We have a petite boxer that looks like a perennial puppy. He’s long limbed but has a very narrow-width but large girth rib cage. He’s very hard to fit! He’s about 50 lbs. The width of his chest is 31”. I was hesitant with which size to choose. He’s always cold in the winter and has very short hair but practically none on his chest and almost none at all on his belly. It’s not easy to find a dog coat with belly coverage! The medium was a good fit for him. We have the powder hound jacket in large for him from a few years ago but the length is too long and the gaping allows too much trapped snow in. This coat will be perfect for walks and romps in the Michigan weather!

    Perfect for our hound

    We have a rescued reservation hound who is quite sensitive to cold weather and this jacket is perfect for him. It keeps him warm in all the right places, easy to put on and take off. The jacket sits perfectly on him and is well made.. Thank you for making this jacket!

    Ruffwear Furness Jacket

    I have two small pekingese pups. Living in Michigan our winters are quit cold. This jacket for our pups is the best we have found yet. Our pups are comfortable outside & don’t mind going outside when the weather is so cold. Plus as long as they have this jacket on they enjoy playing in the winter weather. They never enjoyed the cold weather before this jacket. We highly recommend this winter jacket
