I mounted this scope on a .270 Winchester rifle. The optics are very clear and bright, as you would expect from Zeiss. While sighting in, the adjustments were crisp and accurate. This particular rifle is very accurate, and the scope performed well....

The sight picture blurs away from center very badly. The clarity of the glass is great in the center of the reticle only. Even on the lowest magnification, the edges are terrible. Its hard to make out other things in the field of view. I am not sure...

I bought this scope for my light weight remington 700 hunting rifle. with the 30 mm tube, it was too big and bulky so I sent it back. The scope had amazing clarity, the larger tube helped let light in and I would get another one for a heavy rifle.
The glass is fine. No real complaints. But what gets me is, the turrets don't have tick marks all the way around. The tick marks only go 2 MOA to the left and right of a 0 mark on both elevation and windage. Windage, okay... I can live with that....
