Not well designed for camera gear
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I have liked other timbuk2 products, but it's clear that they didn't do much field testing with this one. Pros: -probably on sale because it's discontinued -looks nice, minimal design with most things you need and nothing you don't. Cons: -the flap covering camera gear is not rigid, and means camera gear is prone to shaking out of place, risking damage -no water bottle holder -horizontal tripod straps (on bottom, like for a tent) are not good if you're in crowds Using padding from other camera bags I was able to make this safe for my gear, but now it's hard to get the gear out, and was inconvenient to have to do in the first place.
