Fun Ski. Poor construction quality.

I purchased these in April 2020... thought I was getting a great deal. I didn't mount them for over a year. This year, on my 6th day on these skis, the top sheet de-laminated in a major way. Too bad, so sad said Volkl. "Sorry. They are out of warranty." I will never buy Volkl again. Warranty or not, this is obviously a MAJOR manufacturing defect that is not uncommon on Volkl's with this construction. 6 DAYS!!! A bit surprising that this legendary ski company dropped the ball. I'm pretty sure they changed the design to keep this from happening, but if you buy them, make sure to ski on them ASAP. I will think twice about making any large purchases from BackCountry, too. You'll pay more, but it's much easier to get support from your local brick & mortar.
