Description

With over one million produced, Trijicon’s Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight, better known as the ACOG has become iconic in the realm of combat optics — and for good reason, the ACOG has an unquestioned reputation for quality and reliability. The Trijicon ACOG is the official medium range weapon sight for both U.S. Special Operations Forces and the Marine Corps as well as being the optic of choice for law enforcement agencies across the country. What sets the ACOG apart from the pack is what it offers to its users, increased hit potential regardless of light conditions. This is due to the tritium/fiber optic illuminated reticle found in most Trijicon ACOG riflescopes, this automatically adjusts illumination of the reticle based on available light. With a wide array of magnification levels, reticle designs, and reticle colors available — there truly is an ACOG for every mission.

Trijicon ACOG riflescopes come in the following magnification levels:

1.5x16, 1.5x24, 2x20, 3x24, 3x30, 3.5x55, 4x32, 5.5x50, and 6x48.

Features:

Superior Quality Glass Lenses
Multi-coated lenses provide superior clarity and light transmitting capabilities with zero distortion.
Rugged Aluminum-Alloy Housing
Forged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum-housing provides for a nearly indestructible sighting system.
Fixed Magnification
Less moving parts than a variable optic equals increased durability and reliability. Seven magnification levels are available.
Waterproof up to 100 Meters
Dry-nitrogen filled to eliminate fogging. Five times more waterproof than military standard requirements.
Both Eyes Open Design
The ACOG can be used as a CQB sight when shooting both eyes open utilizing the Bindon Aiming Concept.

I have been deliberating over purchasing this optic for years, literally. Well, I finally pulled the trigger... Ha! Unbelievably high quality and durability! This optic is built for combat and will endure nearly any conditions encountered in the civilian theater. The glass is ridiculously clear and the edges are crisp. I got the Red Chevron reticle which is intuitive and user friendly. I have it on a 3-gun AR along with GG&G canted irons which make for a simple, but highly effective system. My only wish is that I did not spend a bunch of money on several other sub-optimal optics before buying this one. If you are considering this optic for your weapon, it is 100% worth the cost. You will not be disappointed!

Purchased this rugged and clear optic for my Marine son. It is very nearly the same as the RCO that they use. The chevron is easily visible and the glass is clear edge to edge. I can't vouch for how rugged these are....but if this is the choice of our service men & women....it's got to be very rugged. Great optic.....No buyers remorse what so ever!!

I've previously used an ACOG in the military. It is everything you've read. Tough, high quality and easy to use. All ACOGs offers fixed magnification, great glass, extreme durability, and a lack of issues for people with astigmatisms. This version does not require batteries, has a superb mount (not QD) and features the excellent red Chevron reticle. The only cons about the ACOG are the price (lowest price is here at EO) and the eye relief. The ACOG does not offer much eye relief. All in all the ACOG is a fantastic optic that is likely to be as durable as whatever rifle it is mounted on.

I see why the troops use this. Clear and open, easy to use and not big.

All the quality one would expect from an optic of this caliber. Glass clarity is excellent edge to edge. The chevron is a good choice for combat accuracy at most any AR distance. The windage/moving target lead dots on the RCO may be useful if you're buying this optic for duty use. Zero at 100 yards and just aim dead on and shoot from room distances out to 200 yards. The 200 yard aim point is too narrow to be of much use. I shot the 300, 400, and 500 yard aim points at 100 yards which corresponded closely to the recommended come ups for the M4 with XM193 ammo. Did get bumped a couple times standing from the close eye relief but that's my only criticism of an optic I would bet my life on. I wouldn't put one of these on a .308 though. Do your research, save your money, buy one. If you're serious about arms, you won't regret it.

Trijicon products always exceeded my expectations. But what stood up the most is the fast shipping this company has provided.

It’s an Acog. Bombproof, great glass, etc Very happy with it Only downside is the eye relief but even that is a non issue with training or a kram spacer

Previously used one of these as issue, and despite being fairly beat up and abused, always reliable and basically indestructible--finally bought one of my own, wish I had done it years ago-great glass, simple to use, perfect reticle and simple ranging hashmarks, and, of course, it's probably as tough as an actual hammer and even comes with a subtle and uplifting bible verse reference! Fantastic!

Great scope very durable and tiff with great clear glass. Chevron reticle is a good choice can use the tip of the reticle to make more precision shots. Kill flash come with a rubber band to hold it on but is very heavy duty.
