Laurie O.
I have used this headlamp several times now while walking/jogging with my dog on icy roads and trails after dark. I love it! It's much brighter than my cheaper Black Diamond headlamps and the rear blinking light gives me great confidence that I won't be hit by a car or a cyclist. The strap that goes over the head can be removed and the weight distribution with the battery in the rear is well designed and it is very comfortable to wear (I don't even really feel it on my head anymore). If you have a son or daughter who likes to run, cycle or walk after dark, please buy this for them! I live in Boulder CO where so many students walk around town and cross streets in dark clothes with no reflective gear and they may as well be invisible. There's nothing more frightening than being surprised by an "invisible" pedestrian or cyclist in the dark while driving. I was able to purchase this on sale but TBH it's worth every penny if you have to pay full price. It's the cheapest insurance policy you'll ever buy!
