this is a great piece of gear

This think jacket is incredibly versatile and really gets the job done. I haven't worn it in the rain yet, but it does a great job as a wind breaker. I wore it today on a 50F degree road ride with just a thin thermal long sleeve under it. I consider it a solid investment. Very comfortable as well. Rolls up nicely for pocket storage, if you don't need it. For reference, I'm 44" chest, 34" waist in the US Large (which I believe is XL in Euro sizing). Fireball is a visible but cool color. Not red and not orange.

My favourite trait in the Torrent Cycling Jacket are the long sleeves. This includes a thoughtful short extension on the back of the hand which helps to position the sleeve over a glove. Thanks to the stretch material and great cut, I have great arm and shoulder mobility, unlike in most other jackets that I have tested. The unconstrained range of motion also helps to reach the zipped back pocket which can easily hold a mobile phone. Moving the pocket’s zip is a bit fiddly though while on the go despite the support cord. The front zip on the other hand responds rather well and tucks neatly into the zip garage of the fleece-lined collar.
