This camping chair is perfect for my 11 years old son! I love the color, and that it is lightweight. It's very comfortable to sit in , very easy to open, close and place 
it in the carrying bag. I love that the carrying case has a roll top to prevent any dirt or sand accumulating on the chair , or spilling out of the bag! It has two cop holders that are perfect in size to hold regular size drink or snack. It is very well made with durable material! My son loves it

Excellent quality

If you have a little fishing buddy then the Firefly! Outdoor Gear Red Camping Chair is for him or her. The chair comes with a carrying bag that easily latches at the top, so the chair does not fall out. The chair opens with ease and locks in place. When you want to collapse the chair there is a little red push button underneath one of the legs. My son said the chair is comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. He likes the cup holders on each side.

Outdoor Kids Camping Chair

I think this chair is great for kids. It says for youth 8+, my niece is 8 and pretty small for her age- so this chair was very comfy for her. My daughter who is 13 fit in the as well, although she looked to big for the chair, she said it was comfortable. I also sat in it for about 2 hours and I also liked it. The chair has 2 cup holders which is great! The chair has a lock on the leg part, so when the chair is open it locks into place. I had a bit of a struggle to get it to lock, it wasnt until I sat in it I heard it lock. So when you want to fold up thr chair you have to struggle with it as well. The chair comes in a case, I guess you would call it, so when you are done you slide it back in and that has a handle so you can carry it. It is great for the beach or camping or even just sitting outside in. I think any kid would love to have this chair.

Great chair

This little chair is so cute. It's different from the other "cute" chairs that are flimsy and don't last long. This chair is sturdy enough to hold me. The first time I sat in it, I thought, cool I got an "extra" chair for when I go to the kids practices and when parents come with siblings, sometimes they don't have extra chairs and get list in the big ones I have. The 2nd time I sat in it, I heard a click sound and though, oh dang, now I did it. I tried to close it up and it wouldn't go. Yup, I broke it. I turned it upside down to see if I could fix it, that's when I saw the little red button. Now how cool is that? A safety lick so the kids don't fold up in the chair!!! I mean it's cool until it's time to pack it up and you can't just fold it up but, I'll take that so there are no pinched body parts when moving or scooting in the chair

It's for the kids

Loved these camp chairs, they're lightweight and compact. The size is perfect for my 8 yo and my 3 yo will grow right into. For the price your can't beat it

Bang for your buck!

Our family loves camping (in the back yard, that is) and this has come in handy. Both my 6yr old and 11yr old can use this chair. It's sturdy and well made. It doesn't sway to and fro like some cheaply made chairs would. The fabric holds comfortably without tearing or fraying. There are cup holders... one on each arm rest which is PERFECT for drinks and snack cups! All around... P E R F E C T!

perfect in every way

Perfect for bigger kids; mine are 6, 8 and 10 and it fits them great!  It's the perfect size for in between toddler and adult size camping chairs. The cup holder is a nice size and can hold a reusable water bottle. 
We have been using ours for about 2 weeks and they seem well made and easy to use as long (as you remember to press the button on the rear leg when you are ready to fold them away).

Perfect for big kids

My son loves having a chair his size that matches ours. Seems to be made well, it has a lock to keep it open but I think that's kind of unnecessary. On certain floors it has a hard time staying closed, just keeps sliding open, but likely any outdoor surface won't have that issue.

Very cute

I got this folding chair for my son who just turned 11 a few months ago. The chair is recommended for children 9-12. I feel my son is almost already too tall for the chair with how much his legs bend and how far down the chair back is on him. This chair has two cup holders and seems well built. It has a lock button to press when wanting to fold up and to provide more stability when in use.

Well built, but seems to run small.

This firefly brand camping chair seems very sturdy. It easily holds a 80lb kid without having any give to it. I like that it' folds up for storing but on a down side it is very hard to close up. There's a lever underneath that you press but it's almost impossible to press. It maybe just a malfunction with this chair. If your fine with leaving it out and unclosed then I'd Definitely give it a try.
