Losi Mini-T 2.0 Aluminum Bellcranks & Drag Link (Black)
Ok. I dig this upgrade. However, after tearing into the front end to replace the plastic bell cranks with these, I realized the aluminum ones (2) are not plug and play. They are missing the 4 vf stock plastic bushing and 2 aluminum threaded collars. I had to order the plastic LOSI drag link and bell cranks to get this hardware. (Unless the aluminum bell cranks use small bearings in place.
I dont know, have not crossed that bridge yet.
But I did learn so something by reusing the original plastic drag and bell cranks..
And that is much of the slop in the steering was due to the plastic bell cranks (2) not being tightened enough.
Since they were in my hand, I tightened them up another turn and a half ( mine) to take the slop out.
That removed very much of the slop.
In fact, it was so improved I doubt upgrading to aluminum is going to help.
I will keep the aluminium upgrade to shape out one day.
One beef: Losi....if your going to sell this mod, include the plastic bushing...
You should be doing this....

Post Update: I ordered the FAST EDDY bearing kit. Yes, there are 6 small bearings in a tube , 4 of these u will use on the 2 bellcranks. (Use will 2 parts from the old plastic setup...the aluminum threaded spacers.
Grease were needed. As a earlier customer noted....you will need to BLUE THREADLOCK the two screws holding the bg bellcranks in place, adjusting them where they are as snug as can be, yet move extremely free.....let dry overnight...recheck again next day. Lock tight is only thing holding the bell cranks in place and stay adjusted.
As long as I was in there, I installed a Hot Racing Bulkhead..why not...

Losi Mini-T 2.0 Aluminum Bellcranks & Drag Link (Black)
Tried for over 40 minutes to screw together as it kept getting too tight after 5 turns and way too much play to be tight or together a screw broke.Try to use stock screws if the ones that come with the link offer any resistance. Amain took care of the issue. Was not their fault stand up company.

Works great. Tightened up a good amount of slop in the steering.

Use some thread locker and let it sit before using to avoid screws coming loose.

Losi Mini-T 2.0 Aluminum Bellcranks & Drag Link (Black)
This is #2 bad upgrade. It constantly comes loose. I did a half aluminum and plastic hybrid and it worked great. I used the aluminum drag link with the plastic bell cranks. Stiffened it up and quit coming loose. It also comes with microscopic shims, only two no extras! So easy to loose and the whole thing binds without them. I would
suggest every other aluminum upgrade except for this one and the rear hubs.
