I have been searching for a back up for boiling water to use when building a fire isn’t practical. I started out using an alcohol burner. Alcohol stoves are OK but the jetboil stash is a lot more efficient. You can boil more water with less fuel and in less time. This new stove system from Jetboil is quite light weight , only 200gram totally. What i like the most is the small pot with heat exchanger. None of other brand have the small pot with heat exchanger. The output of the stove is not high, but it fits the pot well and the efficiency is ok.
