Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 TMCQ Riflescope PST-14ST-M

Nice optic for the money! Euro Optic has the best deals and fastest shipping that I have experienced. This scope sits atop an AR15 chambered in 5.56/223 and presents a nice fit and finish. It has nice glass, good eye relief, is quite robust, and has a tough tactical appearance with the elevated and exposed turrets. Although I have not had this optic long, it has performed admirably thus far while target practicing. I like the reticle and illumination, which is bright enough for me to see during the day. I also like the illumination knob as it turns off in between each setting. The knurling on all the turrets are easy to grasp and easy to read. I like the fiber optic bar that shows the line for zero because I don’t have to pick my head up to look. Vortex has the best warranty in the business and like Euro Optic, they have excellent customer service. The turrets are soft, but you can hear and feel them, so I would say they are nice for the money. The magnification dial/ring is a little stiff, but a least it shouldn’t move on you on it’s own. I don’t care for the shim “zero stop” system, but it does work. The test of time and practical use regarding durability will have to do because I’m not putting it through any intentional torture test just to say it’s tough or weak. Having said that, it appears robust enough to withstand some punishment. I’m confident it will withstand whatever normal abuse I would inflict upon it at the range and in hunting environments. “Niceness” is subjective, so if you think nice means a top tier premium optic like a Tangent Theta or Zero Compromise, you will be disappointed, but IMO, this optic is nice for the money.

I wanted a low power 1-4x scope for my .45-70 Ruger #1. I discussed my requirements with Vortex - low power, mrad reticle, exposed turrets with large vertical adjustment range, and they pointed me to EuroOptic and the Vortex Viper PST mrad 1-4x24. I LOVE this scope. The small TM/CQ reticle takes a little adjustment but once accustomed to it, it works great. Multiple levels of illumination give you sharp image and reticle in any light. For my rainbow-trajectory .45-70 the vertical adjustment will easily let me dial in out to 1000 yds or further.

I have two of these. I have one on an AR rifle in 5.56 and another on an AR pistol in 7.62X39. Excellent scope and a great price from Eurooptic.com.

Great LPVO at a great sale price. Just the right magnification for a 12.5" SBR build. Stupidly clear glass for the price and can't beat the Vortex 'run it over with a truck' warranty. I think I'll be ordering a 2nd one for a Ruger American Ranch. 2nd purchase from Eurooptic. Very pleased.

Caught this one on sale at an unbelievable price..... Clear glass and enough magnification to easily go to 600 yds, if you dial your elevation. I actually have several of these and was happy when I paid a lot more. When this came up on sale, could not pass it up. Not daylight bright but knew that before purchasing. Personally, I'd rather have a scope with a "not as bright" illumination system for low light rather than a "too bright" so it washes out your night adjusted vision. Black is good and fast in sunlight. Overall, could not be happier with my purchase! And, Eurooptic is my go to vendor when it comes to glass!

Clear glass great turrets… love it

Still a classic and at close-out pricing it's really hard to beat the gen 1 PST. Very good glass, good turrets, made in Philippines - lots to like here. Not as finicky to get adjusted as a lot of other LPVOs I've used. Obviously 4x isn't the most substantial magnification at the top end so be mindful of your application.

I had been toying with what to do for magnification on my blackout pistol for a while now. I had thrown on a 1x and 2x prism but wasn't quite happy with them and didn't want to strip those off the guns they were originally purchased for. I didn't want a true precision optic, but when I saw this come up for sale, I knew I needed to try it. Glass works well for the magnification and I love the donut reticle for 1x quick shots with the crosshairs for a little more precision work. The shim kit for elevation adjustment as well as adjustable turret caps are a must have with the exposed turrets to ensure you keep zero and it was all extremely easy to set up.

Was a little hesitant to order this product and almost went with the primary arms 1-6 instead but boy am I glad I got this optic, The glass quality for the price is incredible, The clarity especially at 4x is sharp as can be, I paired it with a monstrum cantilever mount and I am around 250 rounds of 300 blackout through it and maintaining zero perfectly. The only gripe I have is that the illumination in daytime is still pretty dim even at max brightness but with the reticle being etched it serves well in daytime with no illumination. I see why this LPVO has been on the market for so many years because it really just is a solid scope and vortex is a very reputable company, Will probably buy another for my other AR in 556.

Excellent glass works perfectly at 1 power both eyes open up close. Objective is small and precise and works well to sight in at 100 yards. Have not pushed it further than that yet, but from a steady rest should do just fine. Very impressed with this optic, just perfect for 300 blackout 8"-barrel pistol setup. I highly recommend.

Never purchased from Eurooptic previously, process and delivery was excellent. This Vortex is just what I hoped for will be buying more from them in the future, good value over other sites.

Wanted to try something reasonably priced for my first LPVO. It was going to replace my Nikon m-223 2-8x32 scope, which was a good scope, but I wanted a 1x. I have trouble with RDS due to my astigmatism. With this etched glass illuminated reticle, no trouble at all. Glass quality looks the same as the Nikon M-223 scope, which is about what I expected as they are both made in the Philippines. I really like this MRAD reticle. Perfect in low light and easy to pick up. For me it is bright enough during the day, as the reticle is easy to use w/o illumination. I mounted it in a Warne XSKEL mount. At the range, six clicks up and four right had me dead on at 100yds. Turrets were crisp and precise, better than I expected. The illumination dial is a little mushy, but works fine. I thought if I liked this LPVO I might move up to a "better" one, but after using this one for a few days, I might just keep this one. Great price and Euro optic delivered quick.
